Enjoyed the article. Thanks for sharing. I've been shooting for a long time. When I got started, the only information I had was books and magazines to read. I devoured everything I could I could find. This ended up taking me down the magnum/tough bullet road. Through a long process, I eventually started to learn differently. Now I believe in the terminal performance delivered by the more frangible bullets. I love the accuracy potential of match bullets. They just kill stuff dead. The big problem I see is everyone choses too much gun. I've shot rifles up to 458 WM's and 378 Weatherby's. I killed stuff with 338 WM's and a 375 H&H. I know something about the magnums. But after years of working different jobs that took a toll on my body, I come to realize I have more fun shooting smaller cartridges, I shoot better with them, and still kill stuff just as dead. It disgusts me to see guys putting small kids, women, and new hunters behind big magnum rifles.
