Good week of hunting in Oklahoma with the 6mm creedmoor. Testing out the 109 eld m bullets on game with 7 animals down. Shot the buck, 4 hogs (two made it onto the neighbors property and the two pictured died on the hunting property), a coyote, and a rabbit. Distances from 10 yards to 400 yards. I’ll post the video with all the pictures and videos of the terminal performance when it’s finished. Special thanks to Wade of Ally munitions for hooking me up with the 109’s.

Jared, congratulations on some good hunting. Nice buck! I'm very interested in reading your reports on the 109 ELD-M. I shot it in my 6 CM this fall on my antelope hunt. I was very satisfied. I am anxious to hear your thoughts. Good job!

Thanks I’m archery hunting right now so I haven’t had time to do the video and write up yet. So far I’ve been really impressed with the 109 eld m. I haven’t even done load development for it. I just used what I use for my 110’s. So far it’s averaging .44 moa out to 1040 yards and it’s doing great for terminal performance. This 6mm creedmoor really likes the 110 A tips. I’ll play with this load after hunting season and see if I can tweak the 109’s to tighten up the groups. If not I’ll just keep using the 110’s in this rifle. I’m going to use the 109’s in my new 6mm creedmoor once I get it. I should hopefully have it by the beginning of February. It’s a full custom precision gas gun in 6mm creedmoor. Going to use it for hogs and coyotes at distance and I can kill more of them. I managed to hit 4 hogs with the bolt gun in them covering about 200 yards. With a gas gun I could have dropped a few more of them. Congratulations on your speed goat with your 6mm creedmoor!!! Got any pictures?

Very nice. That is exactly the way the 109 ELD-M worked for me. No load development. I attempted to pick a moderate load to fireform brass. The load was warmer than I expected, and accurate as hell. I just kept shooting it. The barrel picked up about 75 fps, and the load kept shooting. I was a little surprised to see this happen. Like you, I'm going to test the load some more next spring, but I'm not really sure there is any need to make any radical changes. My speed goat was a meat goat. I was filling a doe tag. Where I hunt the pronghorns are very wary and wild. I took her at distance, my longest shot on a big game animal yet. I was impressed with terminal performance. Yes, I have a picture, if I can teach myself how to post it.
