Jared, thanks for sharing this information. This video really got me interested in a bullet I never really considered. I hunted this year with a 109 ELD-M in my 6 CM. I really stretched it out and was impressed with the performance. Since the 109 ELD-M is a 110 A-Tip with a plastic tip, the idea of using the A-Tip is very intriguing. In fact, I did a search and watched the rest of your videos on the A-Tip bullet.
I am in the process of putting together a new 6.5 CM. I am an accuracy freak. I truly believe the brass, bullets, and barrels philosophy. When you started talking about how easy A-Tips were to tune and how accurate they shoot, I really took notice. I'm wondering if the 135 A-Tip would be perfect for the smaller CM case. It has a similar or better BC than many 140's and 144's. I saw on something on Hornady's site about a polishing bag. I found their video about how to use it. It didn't seem to be a problem. I normally seat bullets with an arbor press and Wilson seating dies, with the VLD/hybrid bullet seating stem. They worked good when I seated ELD-M's.
I hope I am not wrong in my thinking. As always, your advice is welcome. Thanks again for your time. Have a nice day.
Steve
